On our weekly grocery run into town, an elderly woman approached our car at a stop light.
‘I’m giving away all my change today.’ My brother selected some coins and lowered his window.
But she didn’t want coins, she wanted a lift to where she collected her antidepressants. The clinic’s driver hadn’t shown up that morning to pick her up.
‘It’s a few blocks away, behind the church,’ she said next to mom in the back seat, her voice worried and shaky.
Her departing words stayed in the car: ‘May God bless you… God blesses all those who help others.’

A corrente do bem. :)
