2018. It was the warmest day ever recorded for November, the sun bringing out the yellows and oranges reflected on the water. Green moss gathered around narrowboat husks, spread out like bridal trains. Cool air danced down the towpath, shuffling leaves. Victoria Park was a soggy carpet, and bikes avoided puddles in order not to splash us.
Some narrowboats stayed and hibernated. Others left London like winter birds. We asked ourselves: where did the waterway lead to?
