Thanks Mary! Growing up in America, did Andy Warhol feature in your life field, as an interesting artist or figure? Or was he more of a periphery figure?
I followed him closely, went to exhibits, watched his film of his partner sleeping and was generally fascinated by him. Also, when I lived in D.C. in iconic image of Marilyn Monroe was on a building near where I lived and walked regularly--so often also reminded of his effect on and the way he changed the art world.
So man, I said I’d try and keep up with your Stack.
